We have started our third season of growing coffee from cherries harvested from our shrub in the Glisan shop. I harvested the cherry last month and gave it to our roaster John.
After harvest John went through the process of processing the cherries in different manners. Some were planted in cherry like above. Other he dried and opened to expose the bean in pergamino and then after drying removed the skin to expose the bean.
After he did that he let the beans dry a bit and then planted them in some fresh organic soil. Today we await them to sprout in the coming weeks.
